Lokalise Customer Story
Discover how Lokalise collaborates and prioritizes cross-team alignment with video messaging!
Lokalise is a fully remote startup based out of London and founded in 2017. The company created a “cloud-based software that streamlines the translation and localization process and collaboration among developers, designers, translators, and project managers.”
Cross-team alignment and collaborative discipline are big challenges faced by the team, as colleagues are spread all over the world. The team needed a way to communicate -asynchronously- in order to align and provide accountability.
Lokalise discovered Weet and quickly added it to their stack. The ability to record several sections in a video message and to share the screen while doing so have proven valuable to the team.
With Weet’s easy video messaging and screen recording combination, Lokalise is able to provide cross-team alignment. Collaboration is much easier when people within the organization can share their screen and video record in an asynchronous fashion, allowing team members to respond and collaborate when their own schedules allow it.
With Weet, Lokalise can recruit partners and enable them to bring new customers to Lokalise with product demos and asynchronous video messages.
“At Lokalise we love that Weet makes it easy to collaborate with teammates across timezones and according to everyone’s individual schedules. By recording several different sections as part of one video we can create content that is easily understood and helpful. We use it internally to share ideas, deliver feedback and help co-workers with their questions.”
Collaborative Screen Recording Capabilities
Free desktop screen recorder with AI powered features
Auto transcription and subtitling
Weet was built with the latest technology to combine the richness of live communication tools with the instantaneous convenience of tools like Slack. With virtual backgrounds and noise cancellation powered by AI, you can present your best. Don’t want to use virtual backgrounds? AI camera framing is now here! The technology finds your face, even as you shift your position, to crop out background disturbance.
Some online screen recorders limit your time on screen or require you to re-record if you need to make an update. This is not a problem with Weet though! The Weet online screen recorder allows you to make changes without having to start from scratch. Your Weet can also be as long (or as short) as you like with chapters.
If you don’t like a chapter you’ve created, you will be prompted at the end of your screen recording to keep or re-do your screen recording. In addition to AI camera framing, AI auto-transcription and noise cancellation are also available.
Apple and Android apps are coming soon for mobile use!
AI Powered Desktop Screen Recording
At Weet we believe in a remote work environment where you can communicate asynchronously with your team mates, clients or partners without having to fill your agenda with back to back meetings. As a complement for standard meeting tools like Zoom, our online screen recorder helps you do just that, helping you cut down on unnecessary meetings.
While an online screen recorder is no replacement for in person meetings, sometimes you may need to create your screen recording virtually. That’s easy to do with Weet. With the chapter capability, you can create one segment per each chapter of your presentation and kick off with an intro chapter summarizing your presentation.
The drawback of your standard screenshare is one way communication. It can be a challenge to onboard and support clients when you have something to show them or troubleshoot. Clients can reply to you directly in your Weet screen recording, for simple collaboration.
